Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM is a brand new optical design and a worlds first to include a built in 1.4x optical convertor. Canon are showing this lens as a development project with no clear indication that will make mass production. However we manage to get first look at it at the UK's Focus on Imaging show in March 2012
Ideal for photographers in wildlife of sports fields who need to change focal length quickly and will find not having to remove the lens from the body to attach a traditional convertor very practical.
Canon remained tight lipped on price, so we will have to wait and see. Expect it to be in excess of £10,000 though.

We manage to get a quick first look at only the second working Nikon D7100 in the UK. This important new camera is the first Nikon DSLR with an APS-C sensor chip to not feature an AA filter. Just like the D800e it promises higher resolution on stills.
